GIVING LIGHT TO THOSE IN THE DARK
Sustainable Outreach and Lifelong Advocacy to Rekindle (SOLAR) Hope Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock organization that aims to provide solar and sustainable solutions to marginalized communities in the Philippines. It aims to develop sustainable communities through electrification, education, livelihood and other development programs. It empowers other organizations and individuals to join their advocacy and become beacons of hope.

Tanglaw 4 Every Juan
Solar Hope’s Flagship project. Giving solar home systems or solar lanterns for individual household electrification.
Project Sahaya
To uplift the lives of the Bajaos in Malitam, Batangas through building a resilient, inclusive, sustainable and empowered community.
Solar Streetlights
Installation of solar streetlights to light up communal areas and pathways.
Project Ugnayan
Installation of wifi-access to enable internet access such as Starlink to support the school’s ICT facilities and digital learning.
Eduk-Aksyon
Giving of school assistance other than the usual school supplies (printer, laptops, uniform, cellphones, etc.)
Stories
Caniogan Community
Sitio Pulo is an island near Sitio Caniogan of Brgy. CCL (Caniogan-Calero-Lanang) and home to 53 families.
Iraya Mangyan Community
Iraya Mangyans are found both in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro. Many of their communities due to remoteness are still unelectrified such as Paluan.
Rawang Community
Dumagats are lowlanders who were forced to live in the mountains when the Spaniards colonized the Philippines. Many of them settled in the Sierra Madre ranges including Tanay, Rizal.
Bajao Community
Sama-Bajaos are Sea Gypsies and fishermen whose culture and lifestyle are centered on the open seas.
