Most of the communities reached by Solar Hope have no to few streetlights previously donated by the LGU or CSRs. However, there are streets and areas that are still dark specially on the sitios far from the proper. Through coordination with the LGU and community champions, specific locations will be identified to be installed with solar streetlights based on the number of units that can be sponsored. The solar streetlights will light up the community and will result to safer and more secure for the locals.
Interestingly, after installing a couple of solar streetlights in the communities, we have found out that it could also support the schools as it illuminates the school grounds and areas.
Solar Hope also partnered with Spike and Serve Philippines Inc. and launched a joint project called “Sinag ng Pangarap” where it aims to illuminate courts to enable communities through sports program.

Here’s the breakdown of Solar Streetlights installed in the communities:
- Sinag ng Pangarap Malitam – 4 streetlights for Malitam court in Batangas
- Bajao Solar Streetlights – 34 streetlights for Bajaos in Malitam, Batangas
- Sinag ng Pangarap Bataan Volleybukids – 4 streetlights for Volleybukids court in Morong, Bataan
- Tanay Solar Streetlights – 37 streetlights for Dumagats in Tanay, Rizal
