One of the pressing issues if most of the communities Solar Hope reaches out is their water access.  

Like in the Malitam Community in Batangas. The problem in water supply was experienced not only in the school but in the whole Malitam community. The school have an existing deep well in the school and if a water motor will be installed, water supply can reach classrooms, hand washing facilities and comfort rooms. 

Solar Hope together with Maersk and Batangas Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce collaborated for a joint project to install a water system for the Malitam Elementary School.
